but anyway, I don’t want videos on my site, I want adverts on my youtube videos which is nothing to do with my website. WTH ???
It is not true you cannot pick a channel. You can create a channel and name it UNDER POST or something to this effect
However, you cannot automatically (or use the wizard) to do it. The wizard does not offer channels for it. You have to go in and open the code of your template, then find where Adsense under posts are placed and replace it with the code that has the channel

You have to set up channels. They allow domain channels, easy peasy for what you want. But also named channels, so you can put perhaps different domains under one "site" if they happen to go together for alternative stats. Also named channels are needed if two sites are under one domain/sub-directory (but not sub-domain). Then you can further break down sections or each ad in each site.
But what you also have to do is get new code and put it into your sites replacing all old code after you've set up your channels – remembering to attach the proper channels to each ad as you configure.
when i try and do this, i dont get to choose the content, only my video, my fav and playlist which wont work, ? i am in the UK, why have google made it so hard to use this simple tool ? maybe they dont want us to use on our web sites ? and of course i cannot get a reply from google
